I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty.

This is one of the best lesson I've learned in Life.

A dear friend of mine shared this to me..
When St. Paul was imprisoned, beaten, ship wrecked, as well as very good times with Priscilla and Aquila (Tentmakers like Paul and leaders in the church ---Acts 18:1-3). Paul said that he found peace in contentment, whether with plenty or in prison. He found his JOY from Christ the King not because of just good things that happened to him". Paul's joy came to him because of an INNER JOY rather than being controlled by outside circumstances...

Amen to that.
Yes, that is so true. God wants us all to have that kind of inner peace no matter what our circumstances are. And in this chapter Philippians 4 (a peace that surpasses all understanding) - Paul implied that this inner peace is essential in a way that through it we will understand His will and eventually find joy and comfort through Him. Paul also encourages us that in everything we awe to give God thanks in good and in bad times. This is one of favorite chapter. So basic but usually forgotten.

"I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. " I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want."
 Philippians 4:11-13

I just wanna say 'Thank You'




Dear God, thank you for my life on this earth, however challenging or not. 

Thank you for giving me free will to love and be loved, to make my own decisions, to learn from my mistakes, to laugh when I am happy, to cry when I am sad. 

Thank you for my family, my friends, my pets, my colleagues, and for every other living creature I meet along my journey. 

Thank you for giving me strength to overcome adversity, to do what's right for the benefit of the greater good, to rise above negativity. 

Thank you for giving me hope for an end to world suffering, pain, and war, for a beginning of a world filled with light and everlasting love.
